Kreppa! What We Should Learn From the Icelandic Crisis.
In the book experts from different fields analyse the economic collapse in Iceland from the point of view of politics, economy and everyday life of Icelanders.
The book has been published in co-operation between Centre Group in the Nordic Council, the ALDE Group in the European Parliament and the Finnish think tanks e2 and Magma and Neuvosto Ltd. The book will be available in English and Finnish.
The launch in Copenhagen will take place at the Danish Parliament Folketinget in the meeting room "Faellessalen" on 17.6. between 14-16.30. Speakers include Centre Group leader Bente Dahl, Vice President of the European Parliament and also one of the authors of the book Diana Wallis and Chief Analyst for Danske Bank Lars Christensen. loha[a]norden.org.
The launch in Helsinki will take place at the Citizens' Information Centre at the Finnish Parliament on 21.6. starting at 11.15. Speakers include a member of the Icelandic Parliament for the Progress Party and the vice chair of the Centre Group in the Nordic Council Siv Friðleifsdóttir, and CEO for Helsinki Stock Market and former country director for Kaupthing Lauri Rosendahl.
